Wow, I was up early again today @ 5:00AM. I met someone yesterday and said I would mail to them a few vial of the anointing oil from Dalton, GA that I had. Well, I already packaged it to then place in an envelope to mail. That was when Holy Spirit gently placed this thought into me, leave church a little early and then head over to the church gathering and deliver in person the anointing oil. That is exactly what I did. I sent a text message to the person and let them know what I would be doing. The goal was to be at the other church by noon. Then I received an early text message from another person I just met yesterday and I then figured hey they are up just give them a call and I did. I then offered a vial of the anointing oil to that person they said they would take one.
I was on a strict time clock once I arrived at church. Oh boy, what a day to leave a bit early. The pastor was sharing prophetic message with us and I had to leave just at the point in which I wanted to know what was about to come forth. I had to graciously leave the church and I was on a Holy Spirit mission. Guess what? I arrived there around a minute or two after noon. It was about a 30 minute drive to the destination. One person was already outside and I let them know I was in the parking lot and I just arrived and I was across the street. I gave them the oils. Next, into the church to distribute the other vial of anointing oil to that person.
You may say to yourself why didn't she just go to the church service where the people were at to give them the oil? That is a simple answer, Holy Spirit drew me to the church I am attending because I have liberty to praise with the rain stick. Jesus did some miraculous things this past weekend and the only way I know how to worship with him is in praise and thanksgiving. I worshiped Him.
The church I was at these past few days has a beautiful prayer chapel tucked away downstairs in this church. I experienced this chapel for the first time a few months ago. I walked past it the other day and the doors were open but the lights to the chapel were turned off. Last night at church I was worshiping during praise and worship and Holy Spirit spoke to me that tears would be released and they would flow in me. Not once did that happen until...shortly after the preaching was concluded there was a time of ministry. I had to use the restroom and then the nudge came to me to go into the chapel and pray. I turned on the lights and I entered this beautiful and intimate in size chapel. Last time I was there I knelt on the right hand side of the altar. Not that night, I was led to kneel on the left side of the altar and that is what I did. I began to pray and tears just started flowing forth from me. As I write this right now the same tears are flowing again. Jesus is so tender and He gently reminded me that He told me I would have tears that night in worship. Well, my extended worship was in that very chapel while others were being ministered to upstairs.
Let me back this up a bit if I may. I met a person yesterday by asking a simple question as I was about to walk past them. Do I know you, you look familiar? That struck up a conversation and what a lot of common things we had in common. Like even growing up in neighborhoods that were pretty close in proximity. One thing led to another and I found myself not going back home to pick up a few name cards I ordered for a few women at church at a local Christian store because my steps were re-directed to another path that night. I went to dinner with this person and we shared testimonies. I was doing one of those Holy Spirit led fasts and I had breakfast that day but not to eat lunch or dinner. So I said I could drink something. We shared a Pellegrino water. Bless this person, they were like a mom to me telling you to drink your water. I get so caught up when I am sharing my testimony with others I was forgetting to drink the water. You will be happy to know I drank it all gone. So we get back to the church for the evening service. I show this person the prayer chapel. They were pretty innovative and turned on the lights so we could go into the chapel. We knelt on the right hand side of the altar and they said a prayer. We left and turned off the lights. As we were leaving I commented about how this chapel would be a beautiful place to have a wedding there.
I now have information I needed when I return to the chapel later that night. I now know where the light switches are located. I went inside and turned on the lights and that was my time with Jesus away from the others and see the tears He spoke to my heart about were not for others to see that night but for my beloved to see and I worshiped Him.
Hold on, hold on this sharing gets even better. I distributed the oils and now I was leaving the church. Going down the steps I was behind an older couple. They shared with me that they used to attend this church and I believe the one persons father was on the board at one time. The wife shared with me how they just stopped in with their son to see if they even have services still at this church. I was told there was a bible built into the church where the marking is located and they did brought out that bible on the 100th anniversary. I told them how I love the little chapel downstairs. Guess what? Her and her husband were married in that very chapel I think it was 67 years ago. Amazing it was like I was hearing my words come forth again but through someone who actually did get married there. Other sisters were married in the big sanctuary and they wanted an intimate wedding so it was performed in that very chapel. See how faithful God is. It was not even 24 hours that passed by and I had this chapel experience. When I was walking towards the door I just saw this simple chapel filled with beautiful flowers for a wedding service.
Isn't that romantic? I think so. A few days away from St. Valentine's Day and I discover this real live love story. She even told me how her and her husband met for the first time. She was being picked up to drive to church and they met then in the car. I asked how long it was before they got married after meeting each other. She responded it was 3 or 4 years before they got married.
Do not tell me God is not in the matchmaking ministry, He sure is. When He brings 2 people together there is no denying it and great and beautiful things will come forth. I am a romantic at heart I truly am.
So you can see why I was tired after being the so to speak delivery person today. After the church I went to a local store and purchased King Arthur flour, fresh beets and bananas. I planned on shopping a bit more but I was really getting tired. So much so that as I was driving home you know when your eyes want to shut when you are driving? It was that tired I was. I really do not take naps in the afternoon but I laid down and 2 hours later I woke up. That is my story I hope you enjoyed seeing Jesus throughout this story/journey/expereince.
