What Is A Lug Nut? I Had To Look That Up. Let Me Tell You About My New Tires Buying Expereince Yesterday 12/7/2019.

I had to keep a pretty tight schedule yesterday. Haircut appointment and then in route to purchase new tires for my car. I knew there was a certain tire company that I purchased from before that gave a discount to people that work for a particular group organization. I called first to make sure they still honor that. They did. After my appointment I had to go to a local craft store to purchase trimming items to put together a dessert tray I was taking to church that night. I found what I was looking for. I cut off a piece of the satin ribbon I used and I wanted to match color wise. I will show a picture of it finished, how did I do?
I decided on a tire and they then began to install the new tires. I was in the waiting area and the young sales person (that really was most gracious and kind to me) comes and sits down next to me. He had some mechanical item in his hands and began to tell me that something did not connect like it should do so to this item. He said he had the kit to replace whatever needed to be replaced right there and it would be $50.00. Good thing there was also waiting in that area an older in age gentleman. So, I looked at him and said what do you think about this? He was not going to add a comment and kind of referred it back to me. I at that point had just enough knowledge to be wise in the moment. I looked at the sales person and said NO just keep what I had on the car. Well, guess what? He then said it was a safety issue/concern and he was still going to replace it for me. I did not get any additional charges for that. After he left I looked at the man sitting and waiting and said I think they were trying to see if I would fall for it and then pay the additional $50.00 because I was a woman. He then did explain a bit more to me what that mechanical item was and that it was important.
Holy Spirit led me there that day and also protected me. I am noticing a difference in the way the car now seems to hug the road a bit more than with the old tires. I trust the people that do oil changes and tire rotation on my car to advise me of things like the tire tread needs to be a concern, etc. In my gut I kept thinking to myself I think I need new tires. It would make a screeching type of noise at times when I would slowly turn into a parking space. So, the last time I had air put into my tires I then asked. I was told the 2 front tires for sure needed to be replaced. Sure enough, I learned the tread on the tires was about a 3. Not so good from what I understand. Now I am happy to report they are at a 10. God is good, God is faithful and God is LOVE.

A variety of 6 cookies along with Chocolate Andes Mint Cheesecake. I also tucked in a flavored coffee with one of my favorite coffee creamers, Nestles Coffee Mate Natural Bliss.
