The Other Day When I Did My Happy Dance After Receiving My Mail, I Received Two Items In The Mail.

The other day when I checked my mail I received two separate pieces of mail that very day. I probably should have done a double happy dance so to speak. I was touched and most honored to receive the official calendar in the mail also. I will proudly display this calendar.
When one receives a touching gift like this it truly warms the heart. For this I am most grateful and as I said earlier, I will proudly display this calendar. Know that when this is before me it also reminds me to pray for the first couple also. Are you praying for the President and First Lady of The United States of America? You should be if you live in this grand country. Never take for granted the freedoms we have and they came to us and still come to us via the people that chose/choose to serve our country. They chose to not only serve our great country, they defended and still continue to defend our country. Some have paid the ultimate price and have lost their lives. Family members will not be celebrating the holidays with them gathered around the dining room table for holiday celebrations. They lost their very lives while serving our great country.
When was the last time you thanked a veteran for the service they gave to our country? I try to thank veterans when I see one wearing a hat that possibly displays they are a veteran. You know, our country would not be what we are today with all our great freedoms if former and current veterans did not serve in the military, along with current people that are enlisted in the military. Thank you for your service, I do not take my freedom and liberty lightly. Sometimes when I thank a veteran tears well up in my eyes as I am thanking them because this is a gratitude that truly touches my heart.
Merry Christmas America and the same warm greeting extended to the men and women that did and continue to serve in the military of  the great nation of The United States of America. One more thought, as I have thanked active military personnel throughout the years I usually tell them to be safe out there and come back home safely. All I can say to that thought/sentiment is AMEN & AMEN.
There is more to the day I would like to share with you. As I was driving home from work yesterday evening I had the song playing again (on repeat of course) Away In A Manger/The Gospel Changes Everything by Meredith Andrews. This is a true love song sung to the King of Kings, Lord of Lords. How can you not listen to this song without it touching your very deepest part of your heart? It touched me in a profound way. I felt the presence of God in my vehicle and I began to speak forth my grateful heart coming forth in my very car. Yes, and tears began to not only fill my eyes with gratitude but they began to flow and tears running down my face. How can that be you may say to yourself? Simple when a person has a grateful heart and truly is most thankful that the Gospel changed their very life how can you not have a heart full of gratitude. I really do not know of anyone that would have or would die for me on a rugged cross so I could be saved and live with Him in heaven for all eternity. Think about this, all eternity. Where do you want to live for all eternity, heaven or hell? I am so thankful that Jesus paid the ultimate price/sacrifice when He chose to die for us. Do you know of anyone that would leave the splendors of heaven to come to this earth as a baby and grow up and literally walk this earth?. Think about the magnitude of this … leaving the splendors of heaven to come here to save us and set the captives free. Amazing isn't that? See, why my heart is so over abundantly filled with gratitude. Let's listen to this song again ok. Open your heart to the very words sung and you will be glad that you did. Again, as I am concluding this writing I hear the word PEACE. Peace be still I speak to the storms in your life or the lives of those you hold close to your heart.
