My cousin sent me a picture of actually me, my sister and two cousins. The year I was born there were three of us girls born in the same year. I guess I am the youngest of all three of us. I cropped the picture. This was me when I was younger at Easter holding a bunny rabbit. Look closely and you will see I think my mother painted my nails. I just love that, I loved things like that. If I could have played dolls all day long or have tea parties I would have. We had to be active in sports, swimming, bowling and a member of a folk group (tamburitza.) Maybe that is why I was drawn to Estee Lauder makeup. I was a good customer. I would ask questions when I would go to the counter about the latest looks and techniques with makeup. You know that is how I got my job with Estee Lauder years ago. The person working the counter noticed the interest I always had when I would go to the cosmetic counter and suggested I come to work for them. Guess what? I did.
You know what I really like now? Wearing choker style necklaces. When I like something I try to tell everyone I know about it. I think they are feminine looking and add just the right touch to an outfit. I think I sort of create my own style and I like it. I guess I don't follow the beat of the same drum but I create my own tempo so to speak.
Here is a picture of my daughter when she was younger than I am in the picture and I believe she has her stuffed Easter bunny right behind her. I know I do not have the bunny I am holding in the picture but if I am not mistaken my 30 something daughter still has hers. That is kind of sweet and endearing I think. Sentimental is the word.
