I told you and keep telling you that Holy Spirit journey's can be fun. Do you harken to the voice of Holy Spirit when He beckons you? You should because you will find yourself somewhere that will bless you. All it takes is the one step forward in response to His nudge and then the next and the next and so forth. This is what happened yesterday. I knew the night before what to wear to work the next day. I have a red/black animal print type of dress that I wore with a black blazer. I love this time of the year because I can start wearing my suede boots. I wore black suede boots also. See, that is the first nudge. Vague but go with it. I knew the outfit I was to wear yesterday and I also packed items to freshen up my make up too before I went on the journey at the end of the day.
I had one destination in my spirit. To go to a certain place where there was a broadcast that evening. I then felt a nudge to stop off at two stores along the way. You see, it was all about timing. If I did not stop where I stopped I would have missed the first connection. Walking into a place that I thought was the location and on the way I strike up a conversation with a person and that was my opportunity to share briefly with them. I discover I am actually in the wrong location (for now, not for later that is.) I ask directions and off I go to meet friends at the right location. We have dinner and I told them about the place I was at first and I said lets walk down there and see if anything is still going on there. We do and guess what? It was a victory celebration and the first security guard that checked me earlier before entering that location I now struck up a brief conversation. Told him I found the right location earlier and we thought we would see what was going on there now. We were told they were taking pictures. Guess what? We had our picture taken with a now, freshly elected Governor Elect.
See, it is all Holy Spirit timing. I thought I knew the place when I first went there and then struck up a conversation in which it allowed me to share something briefly with this person in a conversation. Experienced the wrong location to only find out that it was actually the right location in the end. There we have it. I told you Holy Spirit journey's are the best, simply the very best.
It all started with going to a place on a certain day and what outfit to wear. From there the still, small voice of Holy Spirit gently guides you. In the process it really is fun. I told you that it is good to have child like faith. Along with friends that will sometime go with you on the journey. Until I had a confirmation that my friends would be joining me I was willing to step in faith and make this journey on my own with just me and Holy Spirit. I figured it was one of those stepping out in faith/stretching your faith moments. I was willing to go and I did just that. Have you gone on a Holy Spirit journey recently?
