Why Is It So Hard To Find Natural Material Like 100% Linen and Cotton In Clothing In The USA? My Guess, We Are Importing From China Too Much Inferior Made Clothing Made Of That Yucky, Shiny, Cheaper Material. We Need To Support The USA Grown Cotton Industry.

I was recently in a territory of the USA that grows cotton. When you see it growing in the field it is beautiful to gaze upon. I shared a bit briefly on a previous blog entry how I stopped and inquired if I could take a few pictures from a cotton gin. Did you read that?
I have found that throughout the last few years it seems to be harder to find more natural materials made into clothing like 100% linen and cotton also. All I seem to see is that cheaper quality, shiny material that clothes are made of that are made in China. Why are we not standing behind USA grown cotton? Instead of importing an inferior product start supporting USA grown cotton and then clothing made out of this beautiful material. I know owning clothing that is linen takes a little more of an effort to make it have that crisp, starched look to it but I find it is well worth it. Nothing better than a freshly starched linen top, skirt, dress etc. or even a button down shirt at that.
Is it possible to try and cut back on the amount of this cheaper/inferior line of clothing that is being imported and increase in the production of home grown materials created into beautiful clothing items right here in the USA? These are just my opinions and my observation. It seems like that type of clothing has started to appear in the USA more and in larger volumes then a few years ago what do you think? Bring back an abundance of 100% linen and cotton items ok.
