I am in the kitchen making salmon patties for this evening. Oh by the way, the best recipe for them I found on a package of Bumble Bee Salmon (I think it was the kind where you do not have to pick out the bones/skin. Yuck I will use that if I have to but I do not like that in the event I miss a bone.) I found this recipe years ago and since I do use it I decided to write it down so I always have it when I need it. I start getting these thoughts about sharing favorite bargain type of stores I like to shop at. I know Holy Spirit and how He works with me so that is why I am now writing about this subject.
Of course, it is a given places like TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Tuesday Morning, Stein Mart and even Ross are some stores. I do like shopping at Ulta also except I have not received a flyer in the mail from them recently and I called customer service about this and they said they would send one in the mail to me. It has been a couple of weeks now and I think I should have received it by now. I am a contemplator and I like the old fashioned way of viewing things via a catalog/magazine flyer. I will look online at an ad but it is much more convenient for me to just glance at the flyer sent in the mail to me. I still go to department stores when I need to replenish cosmetics like Estee Lauder type of items or if I need something a bit more formal type of an outfit.
I really like shopping at Bargain Hunt especially when they have a buyout of a certain name brand or items I shop for. I discovered a place called Dirt Cheap but you have to test the items out if electrical that is, in the store because there is no return policy on items bought there. Ollie's Bargain Outlet seems to be the place I go when it is time to replenish the snack drawer at work. Remember I shared with you that I started a snack drawer at work when I was in a different department. Well, when I transferred to another department my team members asked me if I could please still get them snacks. I guess I have to because the other day I was looking for a little snack so I went over and talked to one of the leaders in that area and they said go to the snack drawer because I probably furnished the snacks that are there. The drawer looked pretty depleted to me so no snack that day.I know what I will be doing, in search of snacks. I love blessing my team members with such a simple yet apparently enjoyed blessing of snacks. Let's see what is out there. I have also bought snack type of items at Bargain Hunt on occasion also.
Oh, if you are nearby a Cracker Barrel you should checkout their $1.99 section of music Cd's. I recently found two Cd's I purchased. You have to ask where they are located because it is not by the clearance section of the store. I do not know how long this selection of Cd's will be at his price point. There were some Christian artist Cd's at the store I was at. Check it out.
