That title statement is something I recently experienced. I have experienced this truth several times before but I am sharing with you a recent experience in regard to this now. Remember I shared with you how I went on a journey a few days ago? I shared about how the portion of the drive felt familiar to me when I was on a stretch of a Country Road. It reminded me of home. Well, I got a Holy Spirit golden nugget when I was participating in a portion of the journey. I would have missed this completely if I followed the local crowd and attended a local church conference that was also taking place. See, sometimes you have to go against what others are doing around you and step out in faith and go to where Holy Spirit is leading you. I understand that their local conference was wonderful and timely for those that attended but the conference I attended was set aside for me and Holy Spirit. I am sure I would have gleaned at the local conference but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that that was not the one for me to attend and I was exactly where I needed to be. This decision to not attend the local conference was not a last minute decision made or an impromptu one either. Holy Spirit already spoke to my heart weeks earlier about this.
This is how Holy Spirit works with me. The one idea made then allows me to listen and hear the direction ever so clear. Go here, do this say this sort of stuff. From that decision He already knew in my heart that I needed to purchase another CD because that will be sent somewhere special and this one had to be a personalized copy if that makes sense. Next step I find out that there is a place not too far away that I can attend to fulfill this segment of my assignment. That is what I am going on at this point. Journey, attain what is needed, boom you just step out in faith and go on the journey. That is the invigorating and fun side of Holy Spirit. I know this from experience where Holy Spirit guides He truly does provide. Trust me in that statement because I have seen/experienced this over and over again. When He guides you, you have a safe journey from the moment of leaving your home to the moment of safely returning to your home. Now, there may be weather conditions or a long winding road you are to take and crazy thoughts may come to mind and you just dismiss them and do not give them room to be created in your mind on your journey. As quick as they come to your mind, things like a brief picture of an accident or going off the hilly road into a ravine. Just dismiss them right away because you know from experience that Holy Spirit is leading this journey and he protects/takes care of you.
The enemy doesn't know for sure but he has an inkling that you are somewhere on your destiny journey and he throws out the bait to see if you will snag onto it and then he can go forth. Wisdom is with you and you begin to know his subtle ways and you just dismiss those thoughts ok. You are powerful over of the attempts of the enemy and the word of God reminds him of this also. Once I was shown, literally shown this by Holy Spirit I visualize a tiny garden pea (not a regular size pea but a tiny sized pea that is) on the ground, then visualize stepping on it. It does not take much effort once you apply pressure to the pea on the ground to crush it right? That was the image shown to me in the power we have over the enemy. Look at it in that perspective and do not fret or worry. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. That is a biblical statement of truth that you can count on.
I received what I needed and had a brief conversation at the same time. A Holy Spirit insight that was shown to me prior I was then able to share with confidence to encourage another. Yep, that is exactly how it happens to me. He says it I believe it and I share it when the time is right. A very simple phrase I was shown the beginning of October "1 CD in the right location can touch that nation" I was also shown a picture bleep (that is what I used to call them years ago when I began to see picture images from Holy Spirit). On this particular day it was only appropriate to share the simple statement and not the picture images attached to this phrase. When the timing is just right that portion will be shared. Another piece of the puzzle set for it's place it is timing, it is all about timing. Trust and obey for it surely is the only way. Much truth in that statement also.
Back to my golden nugget story now...
I am in this conference and this is the insight I gleaned (amongst many others also.) I am going to include in this portion some notes I took at the conference, hang in with me because it will all make sense as I continue to write. "A category of instructional dreams, it is a gift. The key to increase is to do with the little you already have. Faithfulness will bring increase. God wants to love through us to other people. God gets the glory because we cooperate in the ways of God and we get nothing. In dealing with dreams from God if He spoke it and you didn't write it down then the dream God will cause you to remember it in the time that you need it-the recall will be there. Say to God confirm your word talk to me again if you did not capture the full dream. Believe that He will give it again. If He gives you the dream He will help you recall that dream." I did not take notes on this next key thought but I recall it now...if you are somewhere sort of like deja vu that is an inkling that was connected to a God dream. I received that right away as the light bulb went off inside of me.
Remember weeks ago how I was in search of the dream I had about a Country Road and I could not find this dream anywhere. I know I wrote this dream down years ago I know this as a fact. Guess what? As I began to travel down the country road I thought it was something familiar to me (I even mentioned it was like being home that sort of feeling.) Well, now that I was where I was supposed to be I received the golden nugget I needed. That I was experiencing the Country Road dream presently. How exciting is that? Very exciting to me. I labored for weeks trying to locate the dream and I am now experiencing the Country Road dream in person. God is faithful, He truly is. I then had a different outlook/perspective from that moment on. I am living right now the Country Road dream and what I recall of the dream when I had it years ago the outcome is very good. Very good indeed. Not the time to share other portions of that very dream but there are images sketched in my memory about this dream. I follow Holy Spirit and just maybe this dream portion was already shared and other portions are for me and not to be shared. We will see, let Holy Spirit do His leading for me ok.
Lesson in all of this...do not follow the crowd when Holy Spirit is leading you in another direction. If you follow the crowd yes, God is faithful and you will be blessed but do you really want to miss receiving your golden nugget wisdom awaiting you where He leads you?
