If My Writing Does Not Bring Glory To God Then I Should Stop Writing
Before I explain what I am about to write I would like to ask your forgiveness. At church today my pastor preached on the power of a believer to bless another. Not to use words to curse them but words to bless them. I felt convicted right there about the two prior writings I published. There were a few words that were probably not worded as blessing words. I went back and struck them from my writing. It is not my place to try to figure out something or not. My job is to share with you words of exhortation and words to lift you up and not make you feel weighed down. Forgive me from stepping away from that and putting in words that were not uplifting and causing one to doubt. I truly want to become a person that speaks life into your life and not a negative slant on things. I am so thankful that Holy Spirit cares enough about me to correct me when I am wrong. I am also thankful that my heart is not hardened to hearing His correction and to allow me to admit when I am wrong and ask forgiveness. Speak a blessing into the lives of your children this very day. If you have said harsh words to your children, go to them and ask them to forgive you. Do not look at it as a weak thing to do but in their eyes they will see a stronger person that will come to them and ask forgiveness. Remember the power of life and death (blessing and cursing) are in your tongue. Choose life this very day. Thank you in advance for your forgiveness to me.
