Back to the sunflowers in my garden now. Do you like that about me or not how I jump around when I write? You have to realize something about the condition of the soil in which I plant my little gardens in. You need to know this information. The areas are basically covered with decorative rocks and then that sheeting that is used to minimize weeds from growing and when you dig into the ground it is basically clay. So, in order for me to see beautiful things grow I have to add soil to the clay after finding the spot where I will plant. Then having to cut away that lining in order for me to dig the hole to plant what I am planting. You may look at my flowers and say 'Oh that's nice I have really seen much nicer.' Don't be too quick to judge because I am not just planting into rich soil, I have to create a base for the plants to grow in. I am creative and like to try new things. Prior to me living here I was blessed to have an actual vegetable garden in which I grew corn and beans among other items too. Since there is no place for a vegetable garden I began to plant chives, parsley, and dill in planters. They grow for me. I experimented one year I wanted to see if corn would grow in a pot. Guess what? It did I had four stalks of corn that year and I was then able to use the stalks after they dried out as part of my Autumn decorating. No idea of yours is too small to try, I encourage you to expand your thinking. A great idea always starts out as a thought. How many great ideas did you have that you let go to the wayside? I encourage you to resurrect them. As you rest this evening ask God to refresh your memory of some of those great God given ideas and I trust He will. Now learn from the example of Herod and give the glory to God when it is resurrected OK.
