You know it is very important to share your testimony with others. Not only because it silences the enemy when testimonies that bring glory to God go forth but they also encourage others. I have three that I would like to share with you today.
I will be going on a trip and I booked my tickets for the airline well in advance and I selected our seats too. I received an email from the airlines stating that the itinerary was changed. In the email it stated that they re-assigned my seats much further back on the plane than what I selected originally. I first viewed the available seats on the plane and then I contacted the airline. I could not understand why they placed me so far back when there were seats up front. In questioning the representative she asked me if I would like preferred seating. I then responded that would be nice. So you see I now will be sitting in a much better seat than I originally selected. I could have chose to ignore the email and just accept the re-arranged seats but Holy Spirit urged me to inquire. I am glad that I did.
Onto my second hidden treasure that was uncovered for me. I was told that I owed money for a city tax in another municipality. I was then told I did not owe money and then with a further inquiry I was then told yes, indeed I did owe money. I had the choice to just do nothing about it and pay or go and investigate this. I felt the prompting by Holy Spirit to take the hours distance drive in person and see what the facts were. I did and I am so very glad that I did. When I arrived there I submitted my w-2 to the employee and she proceeded to figure out the tax amount. I was then sent to another employee to set up a payment plan. It was in our discussion that it was revealed that the money they figured out in tax was not due because I did not physically work in the actual office a certain amount of days or more. You pay the tax only if you do. I was elated to hear that information. I could not thank the employee enough. I did keep asking her "are you sure, are you sure" and she assured me that she checked on it and that I did not owe the municipal tax. Again, God is good all the time and all the time God is good. I could have chose to not waste my time and gasoline on an hours drive away but it truly was a blessing to me. Another reason why I did not mind the drive is because it is such nice scenery to this destination too.
My third hidden treasure...I mentioned before that I had a chip/ding in my windshield and there is a company out there that will come and fix it and more than likely your insurance company may be listed as one that waives your deductible to use this service. I checked it out and sure enough they did waive my deductible Yeah! When I spoke to the woman in advance from the company she assured me that if for some reason the seal did not work she would honor giving me a brand new windshield with no deductible. I called my insurance company to verify that I did qualify for this. I was told yes I did and the deductible was waived. I then proceeded to tell my agent what the woman told me if it did not work, that they like to have pleased customers. I was told by my agent that that is unheard of that they just don't do that. Well, they did honor it. The chip/ding was repaired and it looked great for two days it was on the third day that I discovered a new chard grew off of the repair. I contacted the company and sure enough they came and did not just repair it but I now have a beautiful, new windshield. Thank you Lord for your favor and blessings upon me. I spoke with my insurance agent to inform them that they did follow through with what they said they will do and no deductible or no money was collected from me for this. I was told that that was a great customer service received from the company. When God does things for you do not be shy in sharing for your story could be the encouragement of others on the very day that they need encouragement OK. You see, since I called back my agent and informed of what actually happened they are now able to suggest a company with a bit of confidence because they kept their word and followed through with what they said they will do.
Does not God do the same thing. You speak His word and He follows through. There are so many examples in the bible of His faithfulness. Pick up your bible today and be encouraged. There are so many people that went before us and saw the wonders of God in their very lives and now they are the great cloud of witnesses that are cheering us on to complete our journeys. Do you ever wonder what questions they may have for us when we are all together in heaven? We only think of the questions that we may ask this one or that one from the bible but think a little bit bigger and realize that what you are doing in your life or your destiny may be talked about in heaven. Will you chose destiny today or just live day to day only to survive. For me I chose destiny. Yes, cheers to destiny.
This is my scripture for today, Isaiah 12 1-6
"At the time you will say, I will praise you, O Lord. Although you had been angry with me, you turned your anger away from me, and you comforted me. Look! God is my Savior. I am confident and unafraid, because the Lord is my strength and my song. He is my savior.
With joy you will draw water from springs of salvation. At that time you will say, Praise the Lord call on his name. Make his deeds known among the nations. Make them rememnber that his name is highly honored. Make music to praise the Lord. He has done wonderful things. Let this be known throughout the earth. Shout loudly, and sing with joy, people of Zion! The Holy One of Israel is great. He is among you."
