Do not look back once you make a decision because you know what happened to Lot's wife when she looked back? It resulted for her in death. It is OK to look back on something if you are using it for a portion of your testimony. Do not look back and regret leaving a place when the Lord prompted you to leave. That is when it can become dangerous for your life to leave the protection of the Lord.
Yesterday, as I was driving I was on a busy road, just ahead of me was a squirrel that kept vacillating back and forth while cars were driving on the very road in which it kept doing this. As I drove by I saw a car coming on the side of the road where the squirrel kept trying to go one way and then turn around and try to go the other way. As I drove by I looked out of my rear view mirror and saw that the car hit the squirrel. This is what I learned from this little lesson. That squirrel probably panicked/became confused and kept vacillating one way and then the other. The word vacillate means to waver in mind, will or feelings. To waver indecisively between one course of action or opinion and another. In the case of the squirrel it resulted in death. Be careful that you do not vacillate in the things of God in your life. Is a moment or two of sin as you vacillate between serving God and serving satan worth it for eternal damnation? I would hope your answer would be "no." May peace fill this region tonight.
