I felt led to go and walk this afternoon in the later part of the afternoon. As I was heading there and walking I then knew why. See, I guess it was a hidden tribute to my uncles that would take all us children on a walk after the holiday dinner. We went to the Metro Park. When I was walking, was just about the time we would have went on our walk. Same Fall scent in the air, crispness in the air and the leaves fallen from the trees on the ground now. Difference being I went on these family walks in a much more northern state in which it was much colder and the leaves were much more vibrant in color. The leaves that were on the ground that is. Oh I remember the crisp sound they made when we walked on them at the Metro Park. As I am heading out on my journey I noticed something, it looked like some sort of animal on a land patch within the river. I stopped but did not really look further. I kept on walking.
Follow Holy Spirit direction ok because He knows where traps just may be set up for you by the enemy. My plan was to walk to a certain point and then head back. I hears Him ever so clear speak to me to not advance to the end point in which I was planning on walking to. I stopped at that point and turned back. He told me there was a trap for me of the enemy so that is why He did not want me to advance. I am so thankful. I stopped at a certain point to flex my one knee a bit. It was there that I saw someone vandalized a section of metal structure. I thought to myself oh my gosh. Someone actually drew a man's private part drawing. I rebuked it and called on angels to take care of it and get rid of it and I kept on walking. I was thinking to myself why would anyone draw something like that in a family park atmosphere?
There is sickness of minds out there and do not fall for their traps and schemes. Terrible, just terrible that was. I am in my 60's and that appalled me how much more if a child would see something like that image. I am walking back and on the trail I feel led to invite Jesus to walk with me. He does and He tells me He loves me. He then thanks me for writing earlier today because He said someone had to read what I wrote. Uh oh, let me back this up a wee bit ok. Before I walked with Him I heard something in the woods to my right. I stopped to look and saw a deer staring right at me. I then felt led to turn to my left and look towards the water and there was that animal I saw heading out on my walk. I focused and it was either a crane or pelican. I then continued walking and that is when I spoke with Jesus. This is the part that touched my heart. He thanked me for noticing His creation. Such an honor such an honor to walk with Jesus.
I planned ahead and brought with me to the park the cake I was going to take to marketplace ministry. I did just that. I dropped it off and boy it sure was busy there. So, if you invite Jesus into your life He will respond. Guess what? You have to ask so why don't you ask.

Remember How I Do Not Like Over Ripe Bananas? I Had 3 So I Made Banana Nut Cake With Chocolate Frosting.
I really do not like over ripe bananas for eating consumption. Somehow I let them get that way and instead of throwing them away I decided to make banana nut cake (from scratch recipe) and chocolate frosting to ice it with. I had 8 inch cake pans so the recipe called for 3 of them. You are probably wondering what I will do with this cake since I am at home and not going anywhere for Thanksgiving dinner. I already cut half of it to take to work tomorrow and my plan is to drop some off for my co-workers at my marketplace ministry job, I am sure they will be pretty busy today.
Isn't this kind of funny? When I knew I would make banana nut cake I remembered one ingredient from years ago when I used to bake this cake a little bit more than I do today. The ingredient was buttermilk. I was out and about last night after work. I took a chance on heading to church but I really did not know if there would be a church service with it being Thanksgiving eve. Sure enough, no church service. I was pretty close distance wise to a quaint city I am familiar with because I used to work in that city. So I hopped on the interstate and I found myself at Bargain Hunt in search of more of those adorable doggie Christmas stockings. This particular store did not have any of them. So, I go to a local Kroger and get the buttermilk I needed for my cake recipe. I get this idea while in the parking lot of Kroger's call a particular Bargain Hunt to see if they had any left of that stocking. They did so I was heading there and I needed to be there by 9:00pm closing time. Oh my, I made it there with a few minutes to spare. Low and behold there was my stocking. So I inquired of the other type the clerk told me they had also. They did not know what it was but I knew instantly it was for a cat. It said Nice Kitty on top with 3 fish as part of this decoration. So now I have one for my sister's new puppy and one for my son's cat, Benjamin.
When he named his cat Benjamin he told me it was to represent the Jewish heritage we discovered in our family bloodline. I must have needed encouragement yesterday. Let me share with you if I may ok. At Bargain Hunt the manager referred to me as Sunshine when processing my order. I then thanked her for calling me sunshine and she replied that she calls everyone sunshine. Never the less I still thanked her. Then that conversation led to the man behind me saying something to the extent that it was maybe due to my hair color. I then replied I think with my color it is not blonde like sunshine but maybe more like sunset with the color red I have. He then replied that I was a beautiful sunshine or sunset (I do not recall which one he referenced I just remember clearly the "beautiful" part spoken.) How sweet, how sweet. Do you think it was maybe the glory of God shining forth from me? Oh another sweet thing happened yesterday at Kroger's. I was looking for buttermilk and another couple that were shopping together I asked them if they knew where the buttermilk was located. So, a store employee is in the vicinity and I asked him where the buttermilk was located. Oh my gosh it was right in front of me but at the back of the section. There was a younger in age man much taller than I and they so graciously reached in and got a container of buttermilk for me. I thanked him and then told the couple I found the buttermilk.
Yesterday morning when I woke up and was getting ready for work I kept humming "Angels We Have Heard On High." I get in my car to head to work and guess what song was already cued up to play in my car? You guessed right that very song by Canton Junction. Obviously that was the song to put on "repeat" mode in my car and that is exactly were it is today.
My sister is hosting with her husband 20 some people today in their home. I do feel bad that I am not there to assist her, I usually do when I go and visit for Thanksgiving. My son was to bring the salad and he makes a really good salad I must admit. He learned how to make the dressing from me. It is a simple dressing . Season with garlic salt and pepper then a bit of oil/olive oil and then add vinegar to taste. My sister always compliments him when he makes the salad. My mother did a lot to help also and she made the famous "horseradish sauce" that is a family tradition amongst other items too. Let me remind she is 90 years old and she bakes when she has the energy. The past few weeks she made poppy seed rolls and nut potica's, cookies and I think a few more items too. She bakes while she has the energy and paces herself then puts them in the freezer. My mother is so sweet, she sent me money in the mail for Thanksgiving to get a dinner somewhere tucked inside a Thanksgiving card and told me I will be missed there today.
I found 2 video of Bobby Conners for you to view. I believe the first video talks about in one portion to get over the pains of the past. The second video is pretty funny in parts. He shares about "If you find a Cracker Barrel you've got a ministry, Billy Big Mouth Bass Sings. Listen and you will be glad you did. Oh, most important, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Angels & Prophetic Words - Bobby Conner (2018)
Bobby Conner | Awaken The Reapers: Night 2 | 4/28/19 | 7:00 PM PDT
You know what I did last night as I was driving home. I heard him talk about this in one of the videos so I followed through. I invited Jesus to sit next to me in the car while I was driving. I tested the spirit and I asked what do you think of the shed blood of Jesus? The response to me was that He was the blood of Jesus. I then proceeded to talk with Jesus in my car. I had a few concerns and questions and He shed light on a few things for me. I never saw it in that respective until I heard Him speak it to me. I told Him I am sorry for thinking the thoughts I thought about it and I understood what He was telling me. He told me that the enemy wanted to try and place doubting thoughts in my mind to throw me off track and I was so thankful that I did not follow through with the enemies lies.
I finished filling up the two Christmas stockings for the USA veterans today too.

Disappointment Not Going To Work Thanksgiving @ Marketplace Ministry, Not Going Home For Thanksgiving. What's A Gal To Do? Oh Work On A Project To Bless 2 USA Veterans. Let Me Explain If I May.
Well weeks ago I did let marketplace ministry know that I would be available to work on Thanksgiving my regular hours that I work my shift on Sundays. Last week I thought I should check with the person that is scheduling and my heart sunk a wee bit when I found out that they had too many people already working that shift but I could work later. I graciously declined for I know me and me going into work @ 2:00PM just not going to work for me energy wise level that is. I really am a morning person per say. Oh well. I did not request time off from my full time job for Thanksgiving so I will stay in town. Don't worry though. With me being divorced for many years now and having to adapt with as the children were growing up rotating holidays with their dad (my former husband that is) you survive. Not only survive but you learn to take on the adventure of doing something relaxing and not pouting. See, you can as I have learned to do in my life is to smile instead of frown. Pouting only feels good for the moment that you actually pout but it accomplishes absolutely nothing right? So, do like I used to do when my children were young. If they had a frown on their face I would say in a joking manner and maybe even tickle their stomach at the same time Turn that frown upside down put a smile on your face. It worked back then so let it work today ok.
I was offered a wonderful opportunity, strictly volunteer that is, to bless a veteran or two during the Christmas season. We were extended an invite to participate in filling a Christmas stocking to be presented to a veteran that will be in a hospital over the holiday. Oh my heart strings were definitely tugging at me so I started my new mission. In search of stockings first. I took a picture of the 2 I found and now I am gathering the stocking stuffer to fill them with. I was at first only going to do 1 stocking for a gentleman until...….I was at a local store and one stocking had a price tag on it and the other did not. I brought it to the register for the pricing of the stocking that didn't have a ticket on it. I was sharing what I was going to do with the stockings and guess what? The clerk gave me both stockings for the price I would have paid for just one. So you know what that means now don't you? A stocking for a gentleman veteran and a stocking for a lady veteran. Such joy is within my heart as I work on this project.
You know the citizens of the USA would not have the wonderful, tremendous freedom we have right now if it was not for the men and women that choose to serve in our military or did formerly serve to protect our country and our wonderful freedoms that we have. I am telling you the truth, whenever I have the opportunity to thank a veteran or thank a person that is currently serving in our military I tend to get tears in my eyes. Why tears, because my heart is so full of gratitude for what they did and are currently doing to protect this great nation. "One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all."
I took a picture of the stockings I bought aren't they cute? It would put a smile on my face if I received it. It puts a smile on my face now when I look at them. I think it is a crewel type of needlework on the front of the stockings. Problem is, I have to not get too much stuff to fill them but just the right amount to bless them with. I love these Holy Spirit adventures He knows exactly what each person that will receive the stocking needs to touch their very heart. I think this would be a great opportunity to search out my favorite little gift. You know what that is right? On a mission to purchase $2.00 bills. How can I not complete this project without tucking in a $2.00 bill.
So see, it does not have to be a lonely Thanksgiving for me. I have Jesus in my heart; the love of my Father in heaven along with the cloud of witnesses cheering me on; and most importantly, Holy Spirit guidance and direction in my very life.
When I go home for a Christmas visit I will meet my sisters newest addition to her family. They are getting a mini golden doodle puppy. This dog is 2 part poodle do not know that that means other than guessing it will not be a big dog growing up. I saw pictures already and she is quite adorable. I asked her if she will be taking this one to doggie boot camp and she replied to me that she has taken enough of their family dogs there and she thinks she is well equipped to train this sweetie pie. I do not know if time will permit on that visit o meet their latest addition to the family, their great grandchild. I have seen pictures and she sure is sweet. I will get to spend time with my family and some time with my son on Christmas Eve. He will be heading to be with his fathers side of the family for Christmas and he will get to see his sister (my daughter) too. See, you do not have to gripe and complain you make the most out of what you have to work with and be thankful that I will see him for some time and be happy. I have another mission on that trip also. I will take the kindness stone and leave it exactly where Holy Spirit wants me to leave it for another to pick up and be blessed with.
I have some music to share with you too ok.
