Look What I Made. Creating Releases Creativity In Me, Does That Make Sense To You?

When I see something that intrigues me I will look at it a few times. While checking it out I am also thinking to myself, 'Is this too complicated for me to do.' In both instances I decided it was not too complicated for me to create. The first project was making cards. I saw a card making kit that was at a great price point. I purchased it at a great clearance price of $3.50 at TJ Maxx and the very same kit was selling for $14 something at a local craft store. It stated that you needed to use a glue runner and again, a set of 4 for the same price a craft store was selling for one of them. I love when TJ Maxx brings in card making kits, this is the second style of a kit I purchased through them. One set was paper quilt cards in which you created a quilt pattern on the front of the card. The second card kit was using a punch technique. Two totally different card making kits but both were equally creative.
Punch Technique Cards using tools to make the design around the card. The kit said you could make 6 cards with 4 designs I actually made 9 cards. I already gave one away. The odd thing about this kit was it did not supply you any envelopes. You have the added task of purchasing envelopes to fit the cards you made.

Quilt Cards, this kit did come with good quality envelopes. I paid $4.99 for this kit at TJ Maxx. Sixteen cards/envelopes with 4 designs to work with.
Second project was making Hamantashen (Purim) cookies for one of the kids that I work with. I went online and started looking at recipes and reading different comments on how to best make them. I did and then blessed this co-worker with them today. I was told they were good. A gift is truly a gift when you make it with the intent of blessing another. Do you have talents and giftings inside of you that you share with others to be a blessing to them or do you keep them to yourself and do not share them. Trust me and start sharing your talents with others and you will find out it truly is better to give than to receive. There is something special that happens when you do for others and sacrifice your time and talent to make a blessing for them. It is great to receive gifts and that is a great feeling when you receive a gift but there is a different feeling that comes to you when you are the giver of something you made yourself to bless another.

Hamantashen, not bad for my first try. Filled with apricot, chocolate and blackberry /strawberry. They are suppose to be triangular in shape. They were dusted with confectioners sugar.
