Look What I Saw Today While I Was Driving. Sometimes You Will See Something That Will Bless You. Open Your Eyes To See The Good Around You.

I saw this on the back of a truck that probably needed to be washed. You know when there is a vehicle that needs to be washed you may see someone write through the dirt "Wash Me" or something like that. This was so refreshing to see the three crosses that someone placed on this truck. Sure makes you wonder about what is important in life. To not stress over the little things in life but to reflect on the things that matter in life not just for today but for all eternity.  I also took a picture of the billboard that brings a smile to my face, hopefully it will bring a smile to yours too.
Sorry the tree branches are blocking part of the view. The polar bears are each holding a bottle of Coca-Cola. Don't you just love this sign.

Are You Tired Of Paying Added Charges, Etc. On Your Monthly Cellular Bill? There Are Other Options Out There That Allow You To Pay Monthly WIthout A Contract And No Astronomical Fees Added. Straight Talk Is The Way.

I had enough with my former cell phone provider and began to research what non-contract plan would work best for me. In my research I found that Straight Talk was the best value out there with decent coverage too. How can you beat this, only $45.00 per month for unlimited nationwide talk, text, data, 411? I also found out that they have nationwide coverage on America's best and and most dependable networks too. You are not missing out on coverage by choosing them for your plan. If you like to just keep paying these large cellular companies their added fees then go ahead. There is a plan out there that does not do that. When they say it costs $45.00 a month that is what you pay. If you have a favorite cell phone you can also use that too. I think you do purchase a one time product to get you set up but that is it. No added costs to get more from you. You have nothing to lose. Only money you will be saving on a monthly basis. Go to their website and check it out,  StraightTalk.com.

"Happy Honda Days", It Caught My Attention.

Saw the new Honda Electronic billboard sign. I get it, I think you are trying to take a spin off on the greeting Happy Holidays but used a great play on words by using your trademark in the greeting. It is an ad for a sales event. Clever wording and it almost looks a little like the Lexus sign. I was once told by a former boss that competition is good, they said it was good for me and it was good for the competitor too. That is true. It keeps you and the competitors on their toes with what works out there. You are never to big or small enough to learn and glean from others and what is working for them. One day you may be gleaning from your competitor and tomorrow they just may be gleaning from you as you learn too. I noticed that your billboard sign is less cluttered too. That makes it so much easier to read when you are driving by. May your Honda Days be happy for you.

Some Thoughts About Open Happiness Created From Coca-Cola's Polar Bear Billboard Signs. Please Read About How Open Happiness Could Be Taken To Those That Had Devastation A Few Weeks Ago By The Storms.

As I was driving this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see another Coca-Cola billboard. This thought came to me, why not take the Open Happiness polar bear billboards advertisement signs to the area's that were ravaged by the storm a few weeks ago. The people living in the regions that were struck with devastation due to the storms are trying to pick up the pieces in their lives right now. Who wouldn't like a little sunshine in their life when they could be facing a bleak day. Imagine this scenario...they get up that morning and it is one of those not so good days in the aftermath destruction that the storm left behind. They have to go to a local home improvement store to gather materials, tools, etc. and while they are driving they see this polar bear billboard and it puts a bit of sunshine in their day. Yes, they have things that need to be attended to to make their life seem somewhat normal. At least they are on the road to recovery to fulfill that purpose and this ray of sunshine pops in their life as encouragement and hope for them. Yes, Open Happiness is more than opening a can or bottle of Coke it reminds them that they are alive and are able to share their happiness with others. You really picked a winner with this billboard. It causes one to see and seek in their mind the happiness that is in their life and causes one to see how they can share their happiness with others. I do not know if you have a benevolence fund in your budget Coca-Cola. If you do this would be a nice gesture to go along with the billboard signs to those regions. Take one of your big Coca-Cola trucks filled with just Coke, not diet or the other one's just Coke. The reason being is Coke was the original product that started out years ago right? That is my guess. Just bless the people with distributing that Open Happiness to them by donating and having a pick up area where you can distribute free Coke to those in that region. These are just my thoughts and suggestions. Do you realize the power of a message in a creative billboard sign? These thoughts came forth from your signs. PS I did catch that cute new billboard sign with the polar bear wearing the Coca-Cola neck tie loosely tied around his neck. Another smile on my face. Thank you.

Coca-Cola You Made My Day Today. Your Holiday Billboard Ad Put A Great Big Smile On My Face Thank You.

This morning I was not in a happy, happy type of mood. I was listening to this song and set it on "repeat." A really great song to fill your spirit with. If you sing the words and believe the words you are singing it will help lift the heaviness off of you that you may be experiencing. I kept trying to get this heaviness to lift from me and you will not believe what caused me to smile and my heaviness was replaced with peace and joy. It was as I was on the highway I saw the Coca-Cola winter/holiday billboard sign. It brought an instant smile to my face. I then noticed that they replaced the Sprite signs with this ad and seeing it a couple of times this morning just brought a genuine smile to my face and it actually up-lifted me.
Let me describe this sign to you. Imagine two white polar bears holding a bottle of Coke and it gives the appearance that they are both having fun in the snow making snow angels. The words that go with the sign "Open Happiness." Great sign, great, great sign. It is the smile on one of the polar bears that is so endearing that it cannot help but bring a smile to your face. Thank you Coca-Cola for brightening my day with your billboard advertisement. Looking forward to seeing them again and letting that gentle smile appear on my face again.
I wish someone would create an electronic billboard sign that incorporates animation and movement in it. That would be so intriguing to experience an animated/movement of the billboard advertisement. I know someone out there is talented enough to take this thought and bring it to reality. I look with anticipation to see this as a vehicle for advertisement.

Verizon Should Learn From Publix How To Treat & Service Their Customers. This Is My Personal Experience.

Publix knows how to treat and take care of their customers. In the few short years I have experienced Publix they bend over backward to make sure you are a satisfied customer. Recently, I discovered that they did not carry a particular item in which they use to carry. I inquired about it and wondered if they will be able to get it in again. They took down my information and said they will look into it. I heard nothing from them so I checked in a few days ago and they said the paperwork maybe in motion. I checked again today and they did start to search and they did get approval to order it as a one time order and they had to seek out the distributor to see if they still have it to place the order.
Today, you just do not find that kind of customer service in the marketplace. When you do find it be thankful for it because more than not you will not find this type of customer service. I am not saying all places do not act like this. I am saying that years ago you use to find this type of customer service much more frequent than you find it to be in our modern day and age in which we live in. I hope they can get this product that would be such a blessing to me. On the flip side of the coin I will share my experience with Verizon.
I have been a client of theirs for many years. Their customer service was much better before they grew too big too fast. Once they grew, it is as though they do not feel they need to take care of their standing customers with the service they use to years prior. Remember when you could get a better and much nicer phone for no charge when your contract was up, to entice you to renew a new contract? Well, I have struggled for over a year to try to think about renewing my contract with them. I would call and see if they had the type of phone I wanted with the features I wanted and a plan that was not outrageously priced. All I wanted was the ability to text with a qwerty keyboard and upgraded camera with video capability. Also, to be able to converse too on the phone. I do not think that is an unreasonable request. I had to go to a smart phone or something like that and when you do that you then have to go to those plans that can handle the capabilities of that phone. All of that for just a few features on a phone? The majority of the time that I was a customer with them I rarely used up the minutes and even text messages I was paying for. To me that is just wasted money thrown right out the window. This is the situation now, they want everyone to use a smart phone and then have to get the data plans that can become quite costly after you add everything on it. They will give you a great deal on one of those phones but you are paying the premium for that phone in the 2 year contract and outrageous monthly bills. Try to seek out a phone with just a few features you want and more than likely there will not be a phone to accomodate you. They must remember that not everyone out there wants all the bells and whistles on a phone. Why not accomodate their needs and concerns and keep it at a great price point also.
I purchased a phone that I was told had the capabilities I was looking for. The sales person made a phone call and supposedly verified that it did indeed have camera/video capability. I purchased the phone and as they were about to transfer contact information I was reading the service booklet and it made no mention at all of video capability. Sure enough, it did not have it and the sales person was gone for the day and another rep. had to clean up the mistake of the original rep. That is terrible that that rep deceived not only me but the rep. that took over for them. They were not even able to credit my account I had to wait until the office opened and they took care of it. Lesson learned in this scenario, not all Verizon retail locations are corporate stores. This was one of those stores that was a franchise, I am not sure of the terminology, it was not a corporate store. I should have gone to a corporate store. I do not know if they would have been able to even offer me anything anyhow. I did call a corporate store and the rep seemed to be in a hurry on the phone to answer my questions and suggested I should come into the store. That type of customer service is really not customer service.
I finally found a phone that has all the features and it is one of those smart phones, I think that is how they refer to them. It was a great deal a really good deal. I had to then get one of those no contract pre-paid phone cards with unlimited everything. It is at a reasonable price point too. When I called Verizon to inform them of my dissatisfaction with them and I was leaving them they then informed me they also offer no contract plans. I asked about a comparable phone to what I purchased. I could get one for $20.00 more than what I paid. I stated to them why would I pay $20.00 more than what I paid to get a similar phone? They made mention of this a few times and again I said I am not interested. I also told them again of how they grew too fast too big and their customer service suffered from this. I would also like to share with you that I did have good experiences with Verizon years ago, that was before they started adding all kinds of things to your bill and they gave the consumer what they asked for and were seeking out in a phone plan.
Life sure is an adventure isn't it? Ask questions and know where your money is going. Why do they not offer plans for people that are customized to what they want and not what you think they should have. If anyone captures that they will find success. I wonder if the large cellular phone companies are losing business as the people are taking their business to pre-paid plans. These are just my thoughts and my experience. I am sure there are those out there that have had opposite experiences and for that I am thankful. I suppose the season you are in your life may determine what you are seeking as a consumer. Be watchful and use wisdom and God will guide you to the right plan or direction for the purpose to be fulfilled in your very life. Just ask Him to share with you and He will. He is so very faithful. He is faithful not like a retail store that can make mistakes. He created you and knows the good and glorious plans He has for your very life.

"Happy Holidays 365 Days A Year. The Lexus December To Remember Sales Event" Did I Get It Right?

I do believe I did get this correct. It took me a few times driving by to make sure,I would jot down the message and get it all. I really do like the picture of the vehicle with the big red bow on the roof of the car. I think that is clever advertisement and what a great surprise for the receiver of the gift if they followed through and presented the gift with a big red bow on top of the roof of the car. That would be one heck of a large bow to place upon the car. I would think that dealerships would offer this to consumers if it is being purchased as a gift for someone. I wonder what type of material would be used to create such a bow like that. Just imagine this, if you lived in the north where it tends to snow. You are guided to the front window by the giver of the gift and they ask you to look outside there is something they wanted to share with you. Perfect setting would be a gentle snowfall. You look out the window and your heart begins to beat faster with the anticipation that that could be your new car. What fun that would be not only for the receiver of the gift but for the giver of the gift too. Now, that is a great memory in the making for both the giver and the receiver. Take it one step further..what about the car salesperson, they had the opportunity to be a small part of this memory being created. You better make sure your list was checked twice when you make a purchase like that. Do your homework to make sure you get all the features the receiver of the gift would like to have in this luxury vehicle. One more thing, have fun with this one, just think about the wonder and amazement on their face when they find out it truly was purchased just for them. Nice gift, indeed, very nice gift.

I Had To Do A Bit Of Research Mercedes-Benz, But I Figured Out What Your Billboard Was Advertising

I shared with you a bit about the billboard advertisement for Mercedes-Benz. As I would drive by the sign there was smaller print that directs you to gosprinter.com. When you google it, it then gives you options to other links that are not directly related to the billboard advertisement. I had to search the words Mercedes-Benz go sprinter. When I searched like that I was able to see what you were talking about and the billboard now makes sense to me. You really want the consumer to have to do a bit of research in order to find out what the billboard is all about. Maybe you could simplify the message with a more clear site to look up, a more direct link to get to the product. Just a suggestion. Do you want to know what the billboard is all about? The Sprinter is an entertainment luxury van. It is worth searching out, to see an opportunity for a business as an alternative way to travel. Very creative and innovative. Keep up the great work Mercedes-Benz but I would streamline the billboard advertisement with more precision to get the potential customer to the correct site to view the product offered.

More Thoughts On Billboards. Why Would A Radio Station That Plays Christian Music Have A Picture Of Santa Claus On Their Billboard Advertisement?

That one baffles me. If you are suppose to be a radio station that plays Christian music then why are you mixing Christmas with Santa Claus? Christmas is about the birth of Jesus not if Santa Claus listens to your radio station. Are you afraid to take a stand for Jesus or do you want to be a user-friendly/seeker-friendly radio station. I am not sure for certain but my guess is that you do not offer preaching programs on this station, the gospel message being offered to the listeners so they can grow in the knowledge of Jesus. You probably play top 40 Christian songs and not worship songs or even the good old fashioned gospels songs and hymns. Another billboard advertisement for the same radio station mentions "A Good Clean Christmas" what are you trying to say with that one? Is there such a thing as a Christmas that is not clean? I think you are making reference to the type of music you play. Why not make it a good clean Christmas season by sharing the gospel message with your listeners so they will know about heaven. The best gift given to them would be a Christmas that offered them salvation through Jesus so they can have the assurance of living in heaven for all eternity.

Do You Believe In Angels, I Do. Do You Believe That Angels Protect God's People, I Do. Let Me Share One Of Many Instances That They Protected Me.

A few days ago this happened in my life. I was at work and I was walking from one part of the business location to another area and as I was walking, out of my side vision I saw something white. I silently asked Holy Spirit what was that and He replied it is an angel. I said OK and kept walking. You see, a relationship with God is not just a religious type of prayer it is communion with Him in your life. A relationship during the day and fellowship with Him. When you have a friend that you are friends with do you not connect and communicate with them. If that is the case then it really is not a friendship right. The definition of friendship in my electronic dictionary states, "A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts." That is what relationship should be with God. Not just on your behalf but He also knows, likes and trusts you too. Do you have a relationship like that?
It was not too much longer after me seeing this angel that a person from another business stopped in to see if three 16-17 year old boys came into the business. I stated no. This person warned me that they came into their business and they were up to no good and if I saw them to just lock the front door and do not let them in. Apparently they not only went into their establishment but they went to a few other surrounding business locations and guess what? They did not enter the business establishment where I work. They were up to no good because they then went to another area not too far from our business' and stole a vehicle or attempted to steal one (I need to get the clarification on this.) One of the three was arrested.
God takes care of His people would you like for Him to take care of you also? He did and still does it is through a relationship with His son, Jesus. Jesus came to earth from heaven and was born via the virgin Mary, that received conception not through a man but the Holy Spirit overshadowed her and Jesus began to grow inside her womb. Mary had a relationship with God. She was asked and she responded that she would do His will in her life. You see, relationship is with interaction and it is not one-sided. God is personal with your life if you let Him be that in your life. Not just "give me" type of prayers spoken by you in your heart but being willing to do and reach out to others with the love of God in your heart. He really does look for open vessels that He can flow through to touch the lives of others around you. It is a wonderful walk of life if you allow it to be. Jesus performed many miracles and you can read about them in the bible in the New Testament portion of the bible. He also chose to die on the cross and take on the sins of the world so you and I do not have to suffer in a living and real hell for all eternity but you can be with Him in the splendors of glory in heaven forever and ever and ever. Isn't that exciting? You get to choose where you will live for all of eternity.
Not only did Jesus die on the cross He then rose from the dead three days later and walked the earth again for a short period of time. He went to go see His disciples and have fellowship with them again. He then went back to heaven and said He would send a comforter to us and He sent us the Holy Spirit.
Would you like to experience a life of freedom, love, hope, life after death in heaven? Then repeat this prayer with me..."Father I am a sinner and I cannot make it on my own. I have tried and boy have I botched up my life on my own, please come into my life Jesus and make me whole and clean me up so I can experience all You have for me to fulfill in my very life. I realize that You were born of the virgin Mary, You walked and lived with us on earth, You then chose to die on the cross with that awful way of dying. Before Your placement on the cross You were beaten beyond recognition and You took on the sins of this world and the stripes You accepted during Your beating were taken on by You so we could receive healing in our life. Thank you for a love so deep and sincere that You would do this just for me. Please cleanse my heart and life of the filth and sins and come into my heart. Teach me Your ways and show me what I was created to do for my life. Teach me Holy Spirit how to walk in the ways of the Lord and show me via reading the bible that being a Christian can be an exciting life filled with compassion and love for others. Teach me how to hear from You and not to follow the voices of others that will try to lead me astray. Let me be filled with Your love and grace and let me receive Your mercies that are new daily. Thank you for dying on the cross and doing the work for me so I can accept this free gift freely given to me. Life with You here on earth and then with You forever in heaven. That is true love/friendship, that one would lay down their life just for me. Thank you. Holy Spirit seal the words I just prayed in my heart and remind me when the enemy will try to taunt me and say I am not going to heaven. You will remind me of this date in time when I prayed this prayer and know that today my name was entered into the Lamb's Book of Life and all the angels in heaven rejoiced when I prayed this very prayer. Use me Lord to fulfill what I am called to fulfill in my very life. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen."

Mercedes-Benz & Lexus Can Glean From Both Companies Billboard Advertisement.

I saw a new billboard advertisement the other day and it took me a few times driving by to even figure out who the billboard was created for. What caught my attention was the visual picture that was used. It was very large and caused one to realize it was a side mirror view of a vehicle that was behind the vehicle. It catches your attention but one really has to struggle to see the print. It is small in size compared to the large visual used. After driving by a few times and really concentrating on what it said I finally was able to read it, "Your Potential Is Closer Than It Appears." There was even smaller print directing you to a website (I think that is what it was) and since I knew I would be searching out this billboard a few times to see what it said I saw something another time, I noticed the Mercedes-Benz symbol and figured that it must be an advertisement for them. I really did like the visual they used but the print message is too small. Look at Lexus billboards and see the impact they have because the print is large and easy to read.
Now, Lexus you can glean from Mercedes-Benz because they do not only use billboards with this advertisement in the metro area but I noticed that they had one heading out to the suburbs too. In my opinion that was a smart move. I do love your latest billboard sign Lexus, the car with the big red bow on the roof of the car advertising something to the effect the days leading up to Christmas. I will have to research that one again. Do know this, I was on the phone when I drove past the new billboard sign and I read it to my friend on the phone and told them how I just love Lexus billboard signs.
You have captive audiences while people are on the highway in traffic so why not let the traffic flow work for you. Is someone going to get an electronic billboard sign and utilize it with a car in motion so we can see them in action? I keep looking with anticipation and have not seen one yet. Who will be the first to create this?

Even In The Midst Of Heavy Traffic Flow Yesterday, I Caught The New Billboard Ad For Lexus. I Like That You Are Adding A "Personal Touch" To The Ad.

It was a heavy traffic flow yesterday on the highway. Even in the midst of all of the traffic your new billboard ad caught my attention. The billboard was on the other side of the highway and it still caught my attention. I like the larger print it truly does stand out amongst other billboard signs. It caught my attention right? I believe the wording went like this, "_______ TRAFFIC MEET YOUR MATCH." I left out the name of the city but the slogan will work, I believe, in any major metropolitan area. You are taking the region/city and letting them take ownership of the vehicle before they even purchase the vehicle. Great strategy. Keep up the great work. I am still looking for an electronic billboard ad to catch my attention with the zooming of a Lexus car coming right at the driver (on the billboard that is.) I think I found a great spot for your electronic billboard possibility. It is in the area of a major connector bridge that traffic sits on this bridge as they are connecting to a major highway. There is one point that the electronic sign is almost right in front of you while traffic inches onto the main highway. I do not know about how effective it would be during the daylight hours but at night the sign would really stand out to those on the connector bridge. It is just my thought and opinion. You understand what the consumer is looking for, as to how to capture their attention.

Honda, You Have An Electronic Billboard That Caught My Attention. Tweek It A Bit More To Smooth It Out.

I noticed an electronic billboard for advertising one of your cars, it may be a Civic. Not sure though. This is an ad that is a bit choppy and needs to be smoothed out some. One day you see it and it catches your attention stating you can text while driving hands free. ANnther day the ad changes. I am not even sure if it is for a Honda Civic or another model. You throw too much info out at us in a short period of time. Maybe focus one one model and build upon it each day or every couple of days. I will view it again today to see if it is for the Honda Civic or is it just an ad in general for Honda. Great concept but I would smooth it out so it does not bring confusion to the viewer, then it will be a great sign. These are just my observations as the one driving on the main highways.

"Exclusively Driven By The Driven" I Did Get It Right, Remembering The Words To The Billboard Created By Lexus.

Now, that is a great billboard ad. When one sees it for the first time and not expecting it to be a new billboard to capture the words written by driving by the billboard. Why do I not see signs of this caliber in the outskirts of major metropolitan areas? I would think, this is my opinion, that it is great for people to view this type of billboard heading to the major metro area but what about them travelling home. Not everyone lives in the metro area they travel home to the suburbs right.
It would be so fresh in their memory if that is one of the signs they would see as they are about to arrive home. Fresh in their mind to think about when they get home. Just a suggestion. I know there are many that travel the roads heading to the metro area but all those people have to also travel roads heading home. Maybe seek out those main highway roads and let them see your ad and let it be right before them as they arrive home. Remember, what is seen before they arrive home just may be the hook to cause them to seek it out more on their after work hours or on the weekend.
People travel and do errands on the weekend and the evenings too. Let that sign be before them so it may cause them to go and search out a dealership to drive a Lexus. They know who they are and now you have to get them to think about it a little bit more, so the "driven" will purchase and then drive one off of the car lot. There really is power behind billboard advertisement.

Lexus You Did It Again, Great Job. I Was Not Expecting It & You Caught Me By Surprise Yesterday. A New Billboard Sign. Nice, Very Nice.

I was driving on the highway yesterday and I look for the billboard advertisements that I like. I really do. If you are in any sort of commute that places you on the highway and in traffic it amuses me to search out these billboards. When I find the first Lexus billboard then I know it is not too much further away the second one that I really liked. Well, yesterday you snuck one in on me. I was expecting the ad for the hybrid car and there it was not the old sign but replaced by a new ad. You really are very creative with the words you choose to capture the consumer's attention. I hope I got the wording correctly on this sign. I tried when heading in the opposite direction to check the back sides of billboards to see the wording again to confirm it but traffic was flowing too steady to re-read it. If I do not have it worded correctly I will correct it after viewing it again. I search out your billboards because they are fresh and innovative.
"Exclusively Driven By The Driven" I just love the wording used to capture our attention. I works, it causes one to think about the catch phrases. I know exactly who you are appealing to out there and the best part is that they know too. I really would like to see an electronic sign billboard with just seeing the car in motion driving right at you. That would be good. Do not use one of those electronic billboards that are too high up or set back too far because it would defeat the purpose. Try to secure one that is in proximity closer to the highway road so it would give the viewer the full dynamics of the ad and the car itself. Keep on creating because it brings much joy to my day as I am heading out to see your creativity and artistry at work in advertisement.

I Saw Another Sharp, New & Stunning Billboard Ad For Lexus Yesterday. It Caused Me To Search It Out Again Heading In The Opposite Direction To Make Sure I Had The Print Portion Of The Ad Correct When Writing About It.

Wow, Lexus whomever is creating your billboard advertisement is doing a stunning job. If it is not created "in house" and I were a company searching out an advertisement organization to do billboard advertisement I would definitely search out the company that is creating these great ads. Just a thought of mine. I was on the highway yesterday and this ad literally jumps out at you on the billboard. The print is so clear and large in print size. The Lexus logo is large also and then the best part of the ad, it gives the appearance to the viewer that the car is driving toward you. A different but great angle of the car, it really is. It threw me off guard seeing a new ad and there was so much to take in that I thought I captured the print portion of the ad as stating "Why Go Quietly." I was wrong at that. That is what I jotted down in the car after I saw the ad. I made a conscientious effort that evening when I was heading in the opposite direction to look at the back side of billboard advertisements just to make sure I got the message correctly. That ad really caught my attention. I have never done that before, backtrack while heading in the opposite direction on a highway just to see the ad one more time. The correct print message stated "DON"T GO QUIETLY."
In my opinion, I do not think they are referring to the sound the car makes while driving it I do believe it is in reference to the statement you will make just while you are driving this vehicle. You cannot help but look at it as in taking a second look. Do you know what I mean by that? You see something and then you turn around or try to get a second glimpse of it. I think I saw one on the road yesterday. I tried to do a double take look at it but it was being transported on one of those huge trucks that transport cars. I was on the highway and saw the side profile and then I had to keep going in the direction I was heading and that truck did not, even though I tried to slow down to see if the truck would catch up so I could look at it again. I was not able to see it. If what I saw was in fact that vehicle it sure has a stunning and most appealing side view of the vehicle. Lexus I think you have a true winner in this vehicle. Why oh why am I captivated with this vehicle? I have no idea but this is showing the public that truly great advertisement can capture the attention of the viewer. Even so while driving on busy highways. I do not watch much television but if I did I would surely be looking for television advertisement of seeing this car in action. Take the print billboard advertisement and then capture it in motion. Too bad you cannot get an electronic billboard ad and just show the public the car whizzing by as though it was heading towards you. That would be cool. Can you do it, can I put you to the challenge? This ad was for another Lexus model, a sporty model. Sharp looking car.
I have the flip side of bad placement of a billboard that can cause one to not capture and see the fullness of a billboard until you get right up close. I have gone past this billboard and it is for Dillard's, advertising Silver Jean Co. It is a nice ad but it is such a shame that you literally cannot see what they are advertising until you are practically upon the ad. The reason being in this case is not necessarily the sign placement because it can capture the attention of the person just by where the billboard is placed. The problem in this particular situation are the tree's surrounding the ad. They really do block the portion of the billboard that is advertising the product itself. All they have to do is trim the trees so you can see the full ad from a distance and not have to wait until you are right by it to see what they are advertising. One knows the ad is for Dillard's, you have to really stretch to see the section of the ad that is covered up by trees that need to be trimmed to allow the viewer to see the full billboard. If I were you I would ask for some sort of credit toward that billboard sign and most definitely have them trim the tree's so we can see your ad.
I would think that one cannot assume that once the ad is completed that it does not need to be periodically checked out to make sure it is working for your company. Maybe there should be a consorted effort taken by the customer to make sure you are getting the true value of the advertisement. Send someone from your company to indeed make sure that your billboard advertisement is working for you and to your advantage. Let them look for things like tree's that need to be trimmed around the sign so you can see the sign. Better yet, maybe the advertisement company should send you current pictures (somehow captured in real time) showing you the exact placement of the sign at different angles. This would allow you to see that your advertising dollars are working for you and being spent wisely and that you are not paying for something that cannot be fully viewed. Does that make sense to you? These are just my thoughts and observations. When there is a great ad it should be seen by many.

I Am In A Feisty Writing Mood Today. Coca-Cola Who Is Creating Your Billboard Advertising Signs?

I noticed something about Coca-Cola's billboards lately, they are geared to sports enthusiasts, why is that? They (in my opinion) are odd ads to reach the public in regard to Coke. The Olympic ads were just missing something. To take the thought trying to be portrayed and connecting with the actual product. I understand they were a supporter of the Olympic's but that is no reason to cause me to go out and consume Coca-Cola products. Now, billboard advertisements for Sprite connected with a basketball player???
You are not reaching the Sprite fans that do not connect with sports, both male and female alike. Now, what I do love as a marketing tool-whenever you call a Coca-Cola facility and you are put on hold I just love the testimonials of people that share their fond memory of Coke. That reminds the listeners to think back to a favorite memory of their own connected with Coke. Even better yet, to chuckle while on hold because you can relate to the testimonial you are listening to. You almost don't want someone to pick up the phone so you could continue to listen to their great testimonials. Another thought on billboards, I noticed an electronic billboard today that obviously should have possibly been changed today, being 11/1/12, the day after Halloween. The ad was geared for Halloween I wonder if the customer is even aware that this billboard sign is still reflecting a Halloween theme for a product of theirs.
Do you have time for one more billboard sign, this one may bring a chuckle to you. There is a very serious advertisement it may be in reference to insurance. Part of the advertisement is a man (in a suit) standing at a desk with a serious message on the billboard. They did not just make it an oblong standard billboard sign. This sign actually has carved out the man's head. One day I was driving and noticed something on top of the man's head (I think the man may also have the appearance of being bald or a shaved haircut.) When I got closer I realized a bird was using the man's head as their perch. I really did laugh at that. Here's a serious advertisement and now there is a bird perched right on the top of the man's head. I would guess sign creators may need to think about the logistics when creating a billboard. I am sure they never even thought that a bird would find this to be a great perch for them. You can't help but chuckle or bring a smile to your face when you see a bird perched on this man's head, it sort of distracts from the message. Now, when I am heading in that direction I don't look to read the advertisement I now look to see if a bird is on top of the sign.
What about this idea. Take the same concept but instead of cutting out the head from the billboard why not have an ad with the person wearing a baseball cap. Built outward almost like a ledge the visor portion of the cap with the intent that a bird or two could perch on the visor portion of the hat. Incorporate nature into your advertisement and they will work for you free, to be an interactive part of the advertisement. You build it and they will fly to it.
I hope I brought a smile to your face today. See, even a drive on the highway can cause one to think and be creative. When you drive enjoy the scenery. I called a company once and inquired about what I read on their billboard. When I called they answered the phone while I was right in front of the sign and I actually read the billboard to them. I wanted to know if my recent purchase qualified the sign ad $100.00 off on a purchase of four tires. They referred me to another person and when I spoke with them they actually had to have someone take a picture of the sign and send it to them. I did not qualify for the discount since my purchase was under warranty, I ended up with a better value than if I would have purchased with the $100.00 off.
People do read billboards. I still would like to get to a Lexus dealership to test drive the new hybrid car they advertise on billboards. Now, that is a good ad which provokes me to go scout out a vehicle just because of the advertisement. Not in the market to purchase one but curious enough to try one. If I like it I will sing praises of it on my blog. Maybe you are in the market for a new car and I will do the test driving (so to speak) for you. Until we meet again, Peace in your heart. I heard a person speak it like this, "Shalom, Peace be still."
